The KPOP™ Story
Every acoustic piano is built from roughly eight different kinds of wood. Eight trees. Per piano. That’s a lot of forest to throw away when the instrument reaches the end of its first life.
KPOP™ pianos started as South Korean–built instruments from the 1990s and 2000s—originally manufactured by Young Chang, Weber, and Samick in their home factories, back when Korean piano-making was hitting its stride and earning a global reputation for quality.
Decades later, former factory workers from these same plants take these pianos apart and put them back together. New finishes, restored actions, refreshed soundboards.
And then the fun part: a custom color in a full professional refinish, with a matching bench. Teal. Lavender. Bubblegum. Cosmic blue. Sage green. Powder pink. Even a color you choose, made to order.

New pianos are stiff. They can need up to 4 tunings in the first year just to settle. That's why professional musicians prefer played-in instruments—a piano develops its character over time.
