Downtown Hartford, with the Travelers Tower standing watch since 1919. Connecticut's capital is well within our delivery range from New York

We deliver pianos throughout the state of Connecticut — from the Gold Coast towns along Long Island Sound to the Connecticut River Valley, and from the quiet corners of Litchfield County to the university cities of New Haven and Hartford. Greenwich, Stamford, Westport, New Haven, West Hartford, Glastonbury — wherever you are in the state, we’ll bring a piano into your home and set it up.

We’re a 50-year family piano rental business based in New York, and Connecticut is a natural part of our service area. Our showroom on the Upper West Side is about an hour from most of Fairfield County, and our delivery team covers the entire state. Most Connecticut deliveries are scheduled within one to two weeks. No showroom visit required — over 85% of our customers choose their piano online or through a virtual tour over Zoom or FaceTime.

Yale, the Hartford Symphony, and beyond. Connecticut is a musical standout. Yale’s School of Music in New Haven is among the most prestigious programs in the country. The Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Hartt School at the University of Hartford anchor the capital region. Fairfield County has one of the highest concentrations of music education programs in the Northeast. Whether you’re a Yale student who needs practice time outside the practice rooms, a family in Westport whose kid just started lessons, or a retiree in Mystic who’s picking it back up, we have a piano for you.

What to Know About Renting a Piano in Connecticut

A short drive from our showroom. We run the I-95 corridor daily. Our trucks are on that road whether you order a piano or not. Fairfield County is about an hour from our New York warehouse. Hartford and New Haven are roughly two. Most Connecticut orders are in your home within a week!

Connecticut housing is varied. We've seen it all. Fairfield County estates, mid-century colonials, New Haven brownstones, walk-ups, Hartford condos, shore houses along the Sound, whatever you’ve got, our delivery team has moved pianos through all of it. Narrow stairs, tight turns, fourth-floor walk-ups, elevator buildings with freight rules and certificates of insurance. None of it is our first time. When you order, we'll ask a few quick questions about your place,  stairs, doorways, elevator if any, so we show up with the right plan. You don't need to figure it out. That's our job.

No showroom in Connecticut, and you don't need one. Most of our customers never visit ours. Our full piano inventory is available to browse online, and we offer virtual tours over Zoom or FaceTime so you can see and hear a piano before it arrives. We'll walk you through pianos and play them for you. If you'd rather come in person, our Upper West Side showroom at 37 West 65th Street is a short drive or Metro-North ride to Grand Central.

No sales tax. PianoPiano is only required to collect sales tax in New York and California.
