Yamaha is the default choice for a reason. Consistent build quality, reliable action, and a global network of technicians who know these instruments inside and out. If you want to minimize risk and maximize consistency, Yamaha delivers.
Torakusu Yamaha built Japan's first upright piano in 1900. By the mid-1960s, Yamaha was the world's largest piano manufacturer. That didn't happen by accident.
Yamaha owns its own frame-casting facilities, builds its own actions, selects its own soundboard wood. This vertical integration means they control quality at every step-and it shows. Two Yamaha U1s built ten years apart will feel and sound remarkably similar. That consistency is rare in the piano world.
The result: schools, studios, and conservatories around the world default to Yamaha because they know exactly what they're getting.
THINKING ABOUT BUYING? That's normal. Most people researching pianos plan to buy. The smart move? Rent first, decide later. The right piano reveals itself after weeks of playing-not from a spec sheet.
Consistency. Yamaha's quality control is legendary-you're not gambling on whether you got a good one. Every Yamaha in our fleet plays the way you'd expect a Yamaha to play.
Durability. These instruments hold up to decades of daily use. That's why we invest in them-and why you can rent with confidence knowing it won't fall apart on you.
Serviceability. Technicians everywhere know Yamaha. Parts are available. If anything needs attention, we handle it. You just play.
No resale headache. Yamahas hold their value-but you'll never have to deal with selling one. When you're done, we pick it up. No Craigslist, no lowballers, no 500-pound problem in your living room.
Played In Pianos - Why "Previously Rented" Is a FeatureNew pianos are stiff. They can need up to 4 tunings in the first year just to settle. That's why professional musicians prefer played-in instruments-a piano develops its character over time. You wouldn't run a marathon in brand new shoes. Our rentals are already played in and arrive at your home ready for practice.

Why Our Pianos LastYamaha's reputation means high purchase prices. Rental changes the math.
Get a Yamaha without the commitment.
Used pianos on the private market cost less-but you don't know where they've been or what problems you're inheriting. Rental gives you the best of both worlds: an affordable monthly payment, a piano we've maintained from day one, and no risk of buying a lemon. If you fall in love, buy later-100% of your first year's payments apply toward purchase.
Try before you commit. You've heard Yamahas are great-but is it the right piano for you? Rent one, live with it, find out.
100% first-year credit toward purchase. If you decide you can't live without your Yamaha, apply your first year's rental payments toward buying it-or any other piano in our inventory of equal or greater value.
Swap if your needs change. Start with a U1, move to a U3, or switch to a grand. Add a silent system. Or try a different brand entirely. Rental gives you flexibility that buying doesn't.
We've been renting Yamahas since 1975. Full warranty, professional maintenance, honest guidance.
